Hypnosis is a procedure which involves the imagination. Imagination allows us to harness the power of the subconscious and achieve success. We all use the skill of imagination in many ways daily. Hypnosis allows us to access the imagination and make suggestions which can then produce real changes in behaviors.

Sometimes the changes can be seen and felt immediately. Our therapists act as the hypnotists. After an intake session where we discuss your issues, your experiences with hypnosis and any fears you have, the therapist will have several hypnotic conversations with you, making suggestions for changes in perceptions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

You can expect to have a positive experience and you will leave the session refreshed and energetic.

As our therapists educate you in the process and procedure of hypnosis we will teach you how to do hypnosis for yourself. Self-hypnosis is one of the things that you already do on a daily basis. This self-talk can be powerful or paralyzing depending on the positivity or negativity of your self-talk. We show you how to focus on the positive.

You are encouraged to audio tape our hypnosis sessions so that you may repeat the suggestions, and/or tailor make the next hypnotic conversation.

There are records of hypnosis going back to the ancient times in China and Egypt, although the term didn’t come about until the 1840s. Now we are making hypnosis and self- hypnosis a usable technique for solving your problems.
